Description

A refreshing and colorful medley of fresh fruits, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, halved
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 cups pineapple, chopped
  • 2 kiwis, sliced
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or agave syrup for vegan option)

Instructions

  1. Gather all of your ingredients, ensuring they are fresh and ready for use.
  2. Prepare your fruits: Rinse strawberries, slice them in halves or quarters. Wash the blueberries and set aside. Peel and chop the pineapple into bite-sized chunks. Remove the peel from the kiwi and slice it into rounds.
  3. Slice the banana just before mixing to prevent browning.
  4. Mix the prepared fruits in a large mixing bowl.
  5. Combine lemon or lime juice with honey in a small bowl; stir until mixed.
  6. Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently toss until well coated.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors, then serve chilled!

Notes

Keep bananas separate until serving time if preparing ahead to avoid browning. A splash of lemon juice can help with freshness.
