Description

Transform your mornings with this delightful breakfast pizza featuring a crispy hash brown crust topped with gooey cheese, fresh vegetables, and baked eggs.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage or bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare your pan by lightly greasing it.
  3. Mix the thawed hash browns, melted butter, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Form the hash brown mixture into a crust in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Layer the cheese, sausage or bacon, bell pepper, and green onions on the crust.
  7. Add eggs by creating shallow depressions and cracking an egg into each.
  8. Final bake for 10 to 12 minutes until egg whites are set.
  9. Cool for 3 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
