Description

A vibrant and refreshing salad featuring al dente pasta, juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and aromatic basil, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain using a colander and let it cool completely.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, halved mozzarella balls, and fresh basil.
  3. Dress the salad: Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze over the mixture.
  4. Toss gently: Using a large spoon, toss everything together until well-coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve: Enjoy your Caprese Pasta Salad chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Make ahead for best flavor; store covered in the refrigerator. For added flavor, try roasting the tomatoes.
