- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, and instant yeast in a large mixing bowl.
- Create a well in the center and pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and warm water.
- Crack the egg into the bowl and mix until a rough dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Mix together minced garlic, softened butter, and chopped parsley for the filling.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the muffin tin.
- Roll the dough into a large rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Roll the dough into a log, slice, and place in muffin cups.
- Cover the tin and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden-brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
For make-ahead, prepare the dough overnight in the fridge. For air fryer, reduce baking time to 15 minutes.
