- 2 grilled chicken breasts
- 1 ripe avocado, mashed
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer grilled chicken, mashed avocado, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Place the sandwich on the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich and grill the other side until the cheese melts and the bread is golden.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
