- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cooked chicken breast, sliced
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer the mashed avocado, sliced chicken, and shredded cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, let cool for a minute, then slice and serve.
Notes
Consider using an air fryer for a lighter option. Prepare chicken in advance and store in the fridge for quick assembly.
