Description

Authentic Chicken Street Tacos bursting with flavors, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Warm corn tortillas on the skillet until pliable.
  6. Assemble tacos with chopped chicken, diced onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice.
