Description

Soft cookies infused with cream cheese and chocolate chips for a delightful treat that combines the richness of cheesecake with the classic cookie.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth and creamy for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until the batter is homogenous.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into your wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden but the centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Let cream cheese and butter sit at room temperature before using. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes for better texture.
