Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the whiskey, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ground ginger until well combined.
- Add the chicken strips to the marinade, coating thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- Dredge each marinated chicken strip in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
- Fry the strips in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, flipping them halfway.
- Drizzle the remaining glaze over the chicken and toss gently to coat.
