- 12 large button mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 cup cooked crab meat, drained and chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Begin by gently wiping the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and removing the stems. Lightly brush each mushroom cap with olive oil and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until cohesive.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture, packing gently.
- Drizzle with olive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with extra parsley before serving warm.
