- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and let it warm over medium heat.
- Introduce the shredded cooked chicken to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the chicken is warmed through.
- Stir in the heavy cream, honey, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until the mixture is heated through and thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked macaroni and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese has completely melted.
- Adjust the taste with salt if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
