A heartwarming dish of tender steak and cheese tortellini enveloped in a rich and creamy sauce.

- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12–16 oz cheese tortellini
- 4 cloves garlic, freshly cracked or minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Sear the steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season with salt and black pepper, then add the steak pieces and cook until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Create the cream sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Cook the tortellini: Boil tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and add to the cream sauce.
- Combine and serve: Add the cooked steak back to the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to swap beef for chicken or mushrooms for a vegetarian option. Adding vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes is also a great idea.
