Description

These chicken tenders combine crispy bacon and sweet brown sugar for a delightful flavor explosion. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup bacon bits (cooked and crumbled)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Add chicken tenders, bacon bits, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper to a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and bacon bits are crispy.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of at least 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the tenders a day in advance and store them in the fridge. Consider using an air fryer for a crispier outcome.
