- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of hearty bread (like sourdough or Italian)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down on a non-stick skillet over low heat.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese on each slice.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook over low heat for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for easier spreading. Feel free to add extra ingredients like tomatoes or avocados for customization.
