Description

A delightful combination of warm croissants, sweet apples, creamy goat cheese, and fresh arugula, this sandwich elevates any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 Croissants
  • 1 Medium Apple, Thinly Sliced
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, Softened
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh Arugula (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, honey, and ground cinnamon until uniform.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thin apple slices atop the goat cheese.
  6. If desired, add a handful of fresh arugula.
  7. Top with the other half of the croissant.
  8. Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, assemble and bake just before serving. Can prepare goat cheese mixture in advance.
