Description

Deliciously crispy halloumi bites drizzled with tangy pomegranate glaze and topped with crunchy toasted almonds.


Ingredients

  • 1 block Halloumi cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup Pomegranate glaze
  • 1/4 cup Toasted almonds, chopped
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
  • Neutral oil for frying (e.g., grapeseed or sunflower oil)

Instructions

  1. Cut the Halloumi cheese into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Fry the Halloumi pieces until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. Drizzle with pomegranate glaze and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the halloumi is dry before frying to achieve a nice sear. Fry in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.
