Savory and spicy Korean BBQ meatballs served with a creamy mayo dip, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef (or ground turkey/pork)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon gochujang
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sriracha (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
- Extra green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and gochujang. Mix until just combined.
- Scoop out the mixture and shape it into 1 to 1.5-inch meatballs.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear meatballs for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and gochujang; pour this over the meatballs.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- For the dip, mix mayonnaise and sriracha in a bowl. Serve meatballs warm, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions alongside spicy mayo dip.
Notes
You can prepare the meatball mixture a day in advance. These meatballs are also great cooked in an air fryer.
