Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (chuck or brisket)
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients: In your slow cooker, combine the beef, beef broth, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and vegetables. Stir everything together until well-mixed.
  2. Season: Generously season your mixture with salt and pepper to enhance all the flavors.
  3. Slow cook: Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Prepare the noodles: About 30 minutes before you’re ready to serve, cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  5. Assemble: When the beef is tender and ready, serve it over the hot noodles and ladle broth over everything. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
