Description

A vibrant and creamy dish featuring tender gnocchi and juicy chicken, infused with the bright flavors of lemon.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add the diced chicken breast and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add garlic: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest; stir and let simmer.
  4. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions in boiling salted water; drain when they float to the surface.
  5. Fold the cooked gnocchi into the skillet with the lemon cream, add the chicken back, and stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste; garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can make the chicken and sauce ahead of time, then just reheat and add fresh gnocchi when ready to serve.
