Description

A refreshing and colorful mango slaw combining juicy mangoes, crunchy cabbage, and a zesty lime dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine diced mangoes, shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, sliced red bell pepper, and chopped cilantro. Mix gently to distribute.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss gently.
  4. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added crunch, include toasted nuts or seeds just before serving. Avoid using unripe mangoes to ensure the best flavor.
