Description

Delicious oat granola bars packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (like peanut or almond)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  2. Add Chocolate Chips and Nuts: Stir in the mini chocolate chips and any optional nuts or seeds, distributing these treasures evenly throughout the mixture.
  3. Prepare Your Dish: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some edges hanging for easy removal later.
  4. Press the Mixture Firmly: Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish and press it down firmly with your spatula or hands.
  5. Chill to Set: Refrigerate for at least an hour until firm.
  6. Cut and Enjoy: Remove the bars from the dish using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles, and indulge!
