Description

A comforting dish of tender chicken and egg noodles in a rich garlic butter sauce, all cooked in one pan for easy cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the chicken to the pan in a single layer and sauté for 6–7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside, leaving the flavorful residues.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic to the pan, sautéing for 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  7. Add the egg noodles, stirring to combine, and cook for 8–10 minutes until al dente.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  9. Return the chicken to the pan, mixing until coated in sauce.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Prep chicken and garlic a day ahead for a quick weeknight meal. Can be customized with seasonal vegetables.
