Description

A delicious one-skillet meal featuring spicy sausage and pasta in a sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, perfect for cozy nights or quick gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Rotini Pasta
  • 12 oz Spicy Sausage (Andouille or Italian)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Combine and Toss: Return sausage to skillet with drained pasta. Toss to coat in the sauce.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to customize with different pasta or sausage options. Adjust spices to taste.
