- 12 oz Rotini Pasta
- 12 oz Spicy Sausage (Andouille or Italian)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Make the Sauce: Pour in BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Combine and Toss: Return sausage to skillet with drained pasta. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.
