Description

A comforting dish featuring crispy textures and flavors from rich Parmesan cheese and crunchy breadcrumbs, topped with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or whole wheat)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then coat with the cheese-breadcrumb blend.
  5. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a greased baking dish.
  7. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté briefly, then stir in the heavy cream.
  8. Pour the cream sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  10. Serve warm with additional sauce poured over the chicken.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare up to the baking stage and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Adjust baking time if cold.
