A luxurious and refreshing dessert featuring the tangy flavor of passion fruit, enveloped in a creamy mousse that melts in your mouth.

- 1 cup Passion fruit puree (from 8–10 fresh passion fruits)
- 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups Heavy whipping cream (super cold)
- 3 tbsp Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 tbsp Lime juice (optional)
- 1 tbsp Rum or passion fruit liqueur (optional)
- Fresh passion fruits, mint leaves, white chocolate shavings, or fresh berries for garnishing (optional)
Instructions
- Cut open the passion fruits and scoop the pulp into a bowl. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer to extract the juice.
- In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form (about 3–5 minutes).
- Mix the passion fruit puree with the sweetened condensed milk in a separate bowl, adding lime juice or rum if desired.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the passion fruit mixture with a spatula.
- Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and chill for at least 4 hours to set.
- Garnish before serving with fresh fruits, mint, or chocolate shavings.
Notes
This mousse can be made a day in advance. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to one month.
