Description

A comforting casserole filled with savory sausage, creamy eggs, and gooey cheese, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 2 cups bread cubes or vegetables (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until brown and crispy. Drain excess fat.
  3. Beat together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Layer the cooked sausage, bread cubes or vegetables, and half of the cheese in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
