Delicious and cheesy Spinach Dip Mozzarella Sticks that combine the flavors of spinach dip and gooey mozzarella for a perfect snack or appetizer.

- 8 ounces fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Spices: garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper
- 1 package (12 ounces) mozzarella string cheese sticks
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chopped spinach, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, sour cream, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Cut each mozzarella string cheese stick in half and encase them with the spinach mixture.
- Set up three shallow dishes for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Coat each wrapped stick in flour, dip in eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
- In a deep skillet, heat about an inch of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.
Notes
Make the spinach mixture a day in advance for convenience. Fry in small batches to avoid sogginess.
