Ingredients
- Lasagna noodles
- Fresh spinach
- Cremini or button mushrooms
- Ricotta cheese
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Tomato sauce
- Olive oil
- Fresh garlic
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and mushrooms until browned.
- Stir in the spinach and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta with half of the Parmesan cheese and a pinch of salt.
- Spread a layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, mozzarella, and sauce. Repeat layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
Let the lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing to enhance flavors and ease of serving.
