Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them well and set aside.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  3. Brown the beef until it turns brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss in the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for about a minute until fragrant.
  5. Add broccoli and bell pepper, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl, mixing well.
  7. Pour the sauce into the skillet, stirring until it thickens.
  8. Toss in the cooked noodles and green onions, mixing thoroughly.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving hot.
