Description

  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers

  • 12 fresh strawberries, tops on (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake by baking the red velvet strawberry cake; allow to cool and crumble finely in a large bowl.
  2. Cream the filling by combining softened cream cheese and powdered sugar; beat until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine the mixtures by gradually adding the cream cheese mixture to the crumbled cake, mixing until cohesive.
  4. Shape the truffles into 24 equal-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the truffles in the fridge for one hour or freeze for 20 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
