Instructions
- Pour 2 cups of water into a medium saucepan and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
- Add the fruit-flavored gelatin packets and stir until dissolved.
- Whisk in granulated sugar and corn syrup until fully combined.
- Let the mixture cool slightly, ensuring it is warm but not scalding.
- Stir in the vodka until evenly integrated.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into the prepared dish and ensure an even layer.
- Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours until set.
- Run a knife around the edges to loosen the gelatin from the pan.
- Flip the dish onto a cutting board and gently tap to release the gelatin.
- Cut the gelatin block into 1 inch wide strips.
- Slice the sour rainbow candy strips to match the length of the gelatin strips.
- Place one sour candy strip atop a gelatin strip and roll it up.
- Roll all gelatin strips with candy strips and coat with sour sugar if desired.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
