Description

Delicious rolls filled with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, and aromatic herbs, perfect for gatherings or a cozy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • Rice paper wraps
  • Fresh vegetables for filling (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, using a spatula to break it apart.
  2. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and fresh Thai basil to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  3. Fill a shallow bowl with warm water and soak the rice paper wraps until soft.
  4. Lay a softened wrap on a clean surface, add the beef mixture and any fresh vegetables, then roll tightly.
  5. Enjoy immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can prepare the filling a day ahead and store in an airtight container. Avoid freezing the rice paper wraps as they may become gummy.
