- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 1 Bell pepper, diced
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Red chili, chopped
- 2 Shallots, chopped
- 1/4 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tsp Fish sauce
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat the oil in your wok or large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Sauté the minced garlic, chopped shallots, and diced bell pepper until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Brown the chicken thighs cut into bite-sized pieces, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Create the sauce by pouring in the fish sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and chicken broth. Stir well to combine.
- Add in the chopped red chili and fresh basil leaves, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the basil wilts.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot over jasmine rice.
