Description

A comforting dish of pasta enveloped in a rich, creamy parmesan cheese sauce, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Breadcrumbs, for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic and onion in a large saucepan over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream and milk, then bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add grated parmesan cheese while whisking to create a smooth sauce.
  5. Fold the cooked pasta into the sauce until well coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, top with more parmesan and breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
