- 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Prep apples: Clean, cut them into fry-like sticks, and pat dry.
- Set up coating stations with flour, egg mixture, and the breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat apples with flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
- Air fry: Spray coated apples and arrange in a single layer in the air fryer.
- Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Serve warm with caramel, yogurt, or whipped cream.
