Description

Deliciously crispy air fryer apple fries, made healthier without sacrificing flavor. Perfect for snacking or dessert!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prep apples: Clean, cut them into fry-like sticks, and pat dry.
  2. Set up coating stations with flour, egg mixture, and the breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Coat apples with flour, dip in egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Air fry: Spray coated apples and arrange in a single layer in the air fryer.
  5. Cook at 380°F (190°C) for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Serve warm with caramel, yogurt, or whipped cream.
