Description

A delightful croissant sandwich filled with sweet apples, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey, perfect for brunch or a cozy afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 flaky croissants
  • 4 oz creamy goat cheese
  • 12 crisp apples (like Granny Smith or Fuji), sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup arugula (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the croissants in half horizontally, being gentle to maintain their shape.
  3. Spread a layer of creamy goat cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.
  4. Layer the fresh apple slices neatly on top of the goat cheese.
  5. Drizzle honey over the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Optional: Add arugula or chopped nuts on top.
  7. Close the sandwich with the top half of the croissant, pressing lightly.
  8. Serve immediately or warm them in the oven for a few minutes.

Notes

For optimal freshness, prepare apple slices just before serving. Stale croissants can diminish texture; use fresh ones.
