Instructions
- Cook your chosen pasta: Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
- Heat your skillet: In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Cook for about a minute until fragrant.
- Sauté the asparagus: Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften but still retain crunch.
- Add the lemon: Pour in the lemon juice and zest, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir gently to coat the asparagus.
- Combine with pasta: Toss in the cooked pasta, mixing well. If it seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
