- 4 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts (each around 150–170 g)
- 8 slices of bacon (thin or regular cut)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Prepare a baking dish or sheet pan by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the finely grated Parmesan and press it onto all sides of each chicken breast.
- Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, overlapping them slightly.
- Bake the wrapped chicken seam-side down for 25 to 30 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- Optional – Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Rest the chicken for 3–5 minutes before serving, and optionally sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Notes
For optimal flavor, let the chicken marinate for a few minutes and consider preparing it the night before to save time.
