Description

A succulent chicken breast wrapped in crisp bacon, infused with garlic and Parmesan flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts (each around 150170 g)
  • 8 slices of bacon (thin or regular cut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Prepare a baking dish or sheet pan by lightly greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  4. Add the finely grated Parmesan and press it onto all sides of each chicken breast.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, overlapping them slightly.
  6. Bake the wrapped chicken seam-side down for 25 to 30 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  7. Optional – Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  8. Rest the chicken for 3–5 minutes before serving, and optionally sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

For optimal flavor, let the chicken marinate for a few minutes and consider preparing it the night before to save time.
