Description

Deliciously sweet and wholesome Banana Oatmeal Bars perfect for snacks, breakfast, or desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (approx. 3 bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the lined baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake in your preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before lifting out and cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to five days or freeze for up to three months. Warm before serving for a fresh taste.
