Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Stir in the shredded chicken, then pour in the chicken broth and add the thyme and rosemary. Bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Lower the heat and slowly stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until flavors meld.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
