Description

Delicious vanilla cupcakes filled with pastry cream and topped with a rich chocolate ganache, transforming a classic dessert into a fun treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pastry cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine until just mixed.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Make a small hole in the center of each cupcake and fill with pastry cream using a piping bag.
  11. Top with a layer of chocolate ganache and allow to set.
  12. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

These cupcakes can be made a day in advance. Store in an airtight container to maintain moisture. Customize with additional toppings or fillings as desired!
