Description

A luscious dessert that combines moist chocolate cake, velvety chocolate pudding, and heavenly whipped topping, drizzled with caramel and dotted with crunchy toppings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your cake pan.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool the cake completely on a wire rack.
  5. Poke holes in the cake with a fork to allow pudding to seep in.
  6. Add the chocolate pudding over the cake, ensuring it fills the holes.
  7. Spread whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce and top with optional chocolate chips and crushed nuts.
  9. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
