- 1 cup sugar
- 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- Caramel sauce (for drizzling, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then pressing it into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix the filling by beating softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and blend.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set with a slight jiggle.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Add cherry pie filling and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Ensure cream cheese is softened at room temperature before mixing to prevent lumps. This cheesecake can be made ahead of time.
