- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground chicken, mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of golf balls.
- Place meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Drizzle with olive oil for a crispy exterior.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add cooked meatballs to the sauce, tossing gently to coat.
- Serve warm, garnishing with extra cheese and basil if desired.
Notes
These meatballs can be prepped in advance and stored uncooked in the fridge for a day or frozen for longer storage.
