Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake with a glossy chocolate glaze, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 g dark chocolate (for glaze)
  • 30 g butter (for glaze)
  • Sprinkles or chocolate chips for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your cake pan.
  2. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl: beat eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Blend the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Prepare the glaze by melting dark chocolate and butter together until smooth.
  7. Glaze the cooled cake with the chocolate glaze and decorate with sprinkles or chocolate chips.
