Description

Indulge in a rich chocolate cheesecake with a crunchy chocolate cookie crust and creamy filling, perfect for any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200 g chocolate cookies (like Oreos)
  • 80 g melted butter
  • 500 g cream cheese (softened)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g melted dark chocolate
  • 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • Chocolate shavings (for decoration)
  • Cocoa powder (for decoration)
  • Whipped cream (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the crust by crushing the chocolate cookies and mixing with melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. Mix the cream cheese and sugar in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth.
  4. Add melted dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Finish by gently folding in the heavy cream.
  7. Assemble the mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for about 50-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  9. Cool at room temperature before transferring to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Decorate with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, and whipped cream before serving.
