- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup chocolate chips or bars (dark or milk chocolate)
- 1 cup mini pretzels
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter/sunflower seed butter)
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Slice the bananas into thick rounds, about half an inch thick.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip one banana slice into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Assemble by placing a dollop of peanut butter on a chocolate-dipped banana, adding a mini pretzel, and topping with another banana slice.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Chill on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until chocolate hardens.
Notes
These bites can be prepared a day in advance, and are best stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
