Description

Delightful snacks combining ripe bananas, smooth chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and creamy peanut butter for a perfect balance of sweet and salty.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or bars (dark or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or almond butter/sunflower seed butter)
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into thick rounds, about half an inch thick.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
  3. Dip one banana slice into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Assemble by placing a dollop of peanut butter on a chocolate-dipped banana, adding a mini pretzel, and topping with another banana slice.
  5. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
  6. Chill on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes until chocolate hardens.

Notes

These bites can be prepared a day in advance, and are best stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
