Description

A delightful and crispy Mexican pizza that captures the flavor of Taco Bell, featuring seasoned beef, creamy refried beans, and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lean ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; cook until onions are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Mix in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of refried beans over one tortilla on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the beef mixture over the beans.
  7. Add a second tortilla on top, then sprinkle with cheese and diced tomatoes.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and top with olives and lettuce; serve with sour cream.
