Description

Delightful crispy roll-ups filled with melted cheese, perfect for snacks or appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Tomato soup or marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. Flatten a slice of bread slightly with a rolling pin.
  3. Add a generous amount of cheese at one end of the flattened bread and roll it up tightly.
  4. Repeat until all slices are filled and rolled.
  5. Melt butter in the hot skillet.
  6. Place the roll-ups seam side down in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve warm alongside dipping sauce.

Notes

Use slightly stale bread for better results. Customize with favorite cheeses or add vegetables.
