Deliciously crispy mozzarella sticks infused with spicy Nashville hot seasoning, perfect for any occasion.

- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into thick sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp Nashville hot chicken seasoning
- 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
- Hot sauce, for drizzling
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the mozzarella into thick sticks, about one inch wide.
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with the Nashville hot seasoning.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg wash, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Freeze the coated mozzarella sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and drizzle with hot sauce before serving.
Notes
For a milder version, substitute Nashville hot seasoning with your favorite spice mix. You can also bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10-12 minutes if frying isn’t preferred.
